30 minute break
Step away from what you were doing, connect to your body & breath and continue you’re day with more attention and space.
Staying at home gives new challenges as you may already know. How to find a new suited routine and balance in working, householding, teaching kids, spending so much time alone or with family and roommates?
New levels of stress are reached as we suddenly see so much more of our own homes and what happens in it. How to deal with this and finding new ways in it, is for each and one of us different. What does help is to bring some routine into your day and create space for yourself in some way. Like going for a walk, sit in the sun and doing some Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness. Yes it’s a gift to spend more time with our loved ones, but it’s also ok to miss some relaxation (alone) time which is very important for us to stay connected with our needs, staying centered and setting boundaries.
How to create space & time for this 30 minute break?
Agree with your family/partner/housemates that you take some you time for the next 30 minutes.
If you do get disturbed, it’s ok and do what you need to do. Don’t get stressed about this. Already the effort to give yourself some attention is fantastic!
Some space in the bedroom is all you need.
